About the group

A community built around connection.

What is STAR?

A place to find community and help with the challenges of aphasia.

When does STAR meet?

The last Friday of every month, from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Time to chat and share snacks before (1:15 – 1:30) and after (2:30 – 2:45).

Who is STAR for?

People with aphasia and their loved ones. Group facilitators include speech-language pathologists and UNC graduate clinicians.

Group facilitators

STAR is co-facilitated by experienced speech-language pathologists along with graduate students from the University of Northern Colorado Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Clinic.
